Hi everyone Debbie here again....
I've been doing more experimenting.
Here I have a packet of makeup sponges. Some different colours of ink, old chipboard and plastic embellishment sheets, squeeze punches, scrap of cardstock and a shape template.
Grab your plastic "template" (used plastic shape negatives) and a spare piece of paper.
Dab the makeup sponge onto the desired colour ink pad
Dab/twist the inked sponge over the shape you desire.
Done!
Try it with other "templates" like the negative images of a chipboard sheet....
You can also mix colours and use the Fiskars Shape templates upside down (Cannot read the word Fiskars)
here I dabbed blue around the outside
then chose a smaller circle and dabbed with a purple.
A nice two toned circle.
Or try this....
Used your squeeze punch with a piece of old cardstock
Dab the inked sponge over the star
And get a perfect star! Cool huh?
Well off I go again and see what else I can come up with. Get more out of your tools by experimenting. Till then have fun!

Hi Everyone, Jacky here. I hope you are all surviving the heat. Thank heavens its not as hot here in Sydney, as it is in Melbourne and South Australia, I'm thinking of you guys and I hope the heat wave breaks soon.
I wanted to share a mini album I did, using the scallops edges of both circle and the oval templates of the ultra shape express. Using these two tools made it really easy to get diffrent looks - real quick.

I hate leaving dead daisies on the bush and besides it helps prolong the flowering of the plants if you remove all dead flowers frequently.......so one of my first tasks when I arrived at our holiday house recently was to get out my FISKARS gardening tools and cut off all the dead flowers........

What fun you will have creating this interactive scrapbook page! The bonus about this layout is that you can fit 7 photos on a single page layout!
I wanted a way to capture several Disney Characters on one page from our vacation and I knew I could easily do that by adding a spinner that holds 5 additional photos! Of course everyone will have so much fun spinning your page and seeing the other photos behind the circular window!
So, lets get started!
beginner
Instructions (Print version)
1. I started this layout with a piece of the Cloud 9 Kensington Garden Blue Luster Swirls with the corners rounded using my Fiskars Round the Corner squeeze punch.
2. Layer a piece of Multi stripe measuring 7 1/2"x12" on top of a piece of Sparkle Flower 8"x12" and adhere to the page.
3. Next cut two 5" circles out of Orange Luster Swirls using your Fiskars Circle cutter and 12x12 Craft mat.
4. Take one of the 5" circles and punch a hole using my Fiskars L Round 'n Round squeeze punch. This is the photo guide for the spinner.
5. Now adhere the circle without the hole to Green Luster swirls and trim around the outside edge of the circle with your Fiskars Cloud Paper Edger scissors.
6. Using your Fiskars eyelet punch, create a hole in the center of the circle that has the squeeze punch circle cut out of it. Push a brad through this circle and poke it through the back paper edged circle.
7. Now punch 5 photos using your Fiskars L Round 'n Round punch. Adhere each of these around the back circle using the front spinning circle as your guide.
8. On the top of the spinner I placed a large Sparkle jumbo flower punched to fit around the circular hole and used Fiskars Foam Squares to attach in place.
9. Add a tag folded in half with rub on letters so people would know this was a moving element. Mine says, "spin me."
10. With your Fiskars Fingertip Swivel Craft Knife cut out a grouping from Garden Bouquet and attached to the left hand side of the page.
11.Add the chipboard "Disney" and the Sparkle Sticker "Characters" to make the title.
12. Add some strips of journaling along with a couple of flower stickers.
This is such a fun way to create a page that not only entertains those viewing it, but can hold several additional photos on one page!

I really enjoy looking for creative ways to use theme product in non-traditional ways. It can be especially challenging to do this with holiday-themed product as the colors alone associated with certain holidays can, in our minds, characterize papers and embellishments making it seem they are destined to sit in our stash of supplies until the holiday rolls around again next year. With a little extra thought, some of these products can find their place on layouts about every day life and make a big impact.
One of the things we enjoy about living in the country is that we can walk out our front door and find a limitless wildlife and wildflowers during the summer months. Garden spiders are one of the greatest treasures we find. They spin large webs with a characteristic elongated "Z" pattern trailing down the bottom half of the web. The Li'l Davis Die Cut Cobweb paper was a fun way to play on the theme of our fascination with these spiders.
Beginner
Instructions (Print version)
1. Cut 1/2" off one side of the Heidi Grace Daydream Believer Decor Stripe Paper.
2. Using the Fingertip Craft Knife, cut the rounded tips off of the cobweb, making them pointed.
3. Coat the surface of the Li'l Davis Die Cut Cobweb paper with black crackle paint. When the paint is dry, coat the paper with glossy Mod Podge to add some shine.
4. Place the web in the upper-left hand corner with the edges extending off the top and left side of the background paper. After adhering the web, use a paper trimmer to cut off the parts hanging off the edges.
5. Poke holes in the tips of a few of the points and knot a few strands of embroidery floss through them. Adhere the other end of the floss strands to the back of the layout.
6. Using the Stamp Press, Fiskars A to Z stamp set, and Fresh Squeezed High Density Pigment Ink, complete the stamped portion of the title, allowing enough room to place Li'l Davis Velvet Chipboard letters beneath it.
7. When the stamping ink is dry, complete the title with the Li'l Davis Velvet Chipboard Letters.
8. Punch 2 brackets from white cardstock using the You Bracket, You Bought it Squeeze Punch and stitch them to the layout. Add journaling inside the brackets.
9. Using the Diamond Border Punch, punch a section in the center of a strip of white cardstock and adhere it to the side of the background paper, making sure the final width of the layout is not more than 12".
10. Complete the layout by adding photos and embellishing the layout with a Li'l Davis Epitat Journaling sticker and Heidi Grace Halloween Punchout Heart.

I would like to share a layout i completed last week, with you guys.
As many of you are aware Fiskars sometimes run online surveys regarding their products and tools, asking for customer feedback etc. Last year i decided to participate in the one asking for name suggestions for some new squeeze punches that are being released.
I decided that i would put the name down that first sprung to mind when i looked at each image and well you can imagine my surprise when i received an email informing me that my name "GET CRACKIN' " had been chosen to name an egg shape squeeze punch!!
Apart from the honour of being chosen (I was tickled pink :0) ) I also recieved one of the new punches in the mail last week all the way from the USA!
I thought it was apt that i keep the packaging, after all thats where the name is!! I couldn't even wait to get a photo printed, so i printed a BIG pic of the squeeze punch out and cut it out to use on my layout .........
The Li'l Davis chipboard alphabet was a find at just $3.00 in K-Mart. Remember if you are short on some letters, why not try turning things around - the "a" on the top left hand corner is actually the capital "D" turned around. The "i" in "minutes" is actually the exclamation mark from the pack and the "n" in "minutes" is also a "u" turned upside down.
I have used the punch to make the flower - just layered the pieces one on top of each other and added a little kaiser bling, as the egg - this is how the image comes directly out of the punch. And also as the little crown on the birdy - this is the top of the egg turned upside down and straightened off at the bottom and some little diamontes added.
The negative image of the egg and again a little crown for the little Heidi Grace birdy stamp (one of my favourites :0)
So there you have it!! Not sure when this little baby is coming out, but lets hope its in time for easter.

I have been creating and crafting for as long as I can remember! My mother was a professional crafter for most of my growing up years so our home was always filled with creative supplies. I remember as a kid my mom having her special orange handled scissors for sewing that we were not allowed to use for anything! When I began sewing and got my own pair I felt like a real seamstress! When I was introduced to paper crafting, I was thrilled to see Fiskars products were available there too! I now simply can not craft without my Fiskars cutting mat, craft knife, and micro tip scissors!
When I am not playing with paper, I also enjoy sewing, ribbonwork, and silk ribbon embroidery. In the spring you will find me in my garden where my tool bucket contains Fiskars gardening tools!
Instructions (Print version)
1. Use a Border and Corner punch (I used "Read Between the Vines") to create a punched border on all four sides of the blue print side of "Compact Flowers". Ink the edges as desired.
2. Adhere the blue punched piece on top of a solid piece of coordinating cardstock.
3. Use a Tear Edger (I used the "Wave") to tear about 3/4" off of each side of a piece of coordinating cardstock. You may find it easier if you will make a pencil line at the top, middle, and bottom from the edge of the paper to help you line up the tearing edge. Hold the tearing edger down with your left hand as shown to the left of your pencil marks. Begin tearing the paper along the edger beginning at the top and tearing in a downward strip.
Continue marking and tearing until all four sides have been torn. Ink the edges as desired.
4. Adhere the torn square of paper on top of the blue punched paper.
5. Cut a piece of pattern paper (I used "Decor Circles") so that it is slightly smaller than the inside of the torn piece. Ink the edges as desired.
6. Adhere the cut pattern piece of paper on top of the torn cardstock.
7. Apply three Cardstock Photo Decor Borders Stickers to the page about 2/3rds down from the top of the top edge of the pattern paper across the page from side to side. (If you like to distress and ink like I do, you will find it helpful to lightly sand the edge of the stickers to help ink adhere to the slick surface of the stickers.)
8. Use a sewing machine to add a decorative edge to the page about 1/2" from the edge of the pattern paper, stitching through all layers.
9. Create two photo mattes from coordinating cardstock using the Tear Edger. Make the mattes about 1/4" larger than the photos (my photos were 4"x6" and 3"x3"). Ink the edges as desired.
10. Adhere the two matted photos to the page at an angle, overlapping the sticker strips.
11. Add a small scrap of ribbon to a larger punchboard tag (I used the pink one) and adhere it over the bottom edge of the larger photo.
12. Place a punchboard swirl along the bottom edge of the smaller photo. (I lightly sanded all of the edges of the punchboard pieces I used to give them a distressed look. I added light inking to some pieces and left others sanded. Sanding helps expose the nice white inner core of these pieces.)
13. Add a second punchboard tag with adhesive foam squares to the top of the swirl.
14. Use the printed chipboard alphas to add a word (or maybe initials) to the top of the large tag.
15. Use the Glitter Alphas & Words Stickers to add desired words to the smaller tag. (I also used them to add the word "this" on the bottom edge of my large photo.) (I found the Fiskars Fingertip Control Tweezers especially helpful in placing these small stickers.)
16. Add a punchboard heart and a word sticker to the smaller tag.
17. Create three flower clusters by layering a fabric glitter flower with a small flower cardstock sticker. Insert a brad through each.
18. Add two small leaves to the back of each flower cluster.
19. Adhere the flower clusters to the left edge of the large tag, the left edge of the small tag, and one tucked under the top raised edge of the small tag.

When I started this page, I knew I wanted to use a large heart element to fit with my valentine theme. Instead of just making it a block of patterned paper, I used little squares and rectangles of coordinating patterns to create a patchwork feel. This design is perfect to feature the valentine in your life!
Beginner
Instructions (Print version)
1. Draw a large heart on white cardstock. The heart should overlap the edges of the paper.
2. Arrange your photos inside the heart.
3. Punch squares and rectangles from coordinating patterned paper. Arrange them inside the heart, with some overlapping the edges.
4. Use fingertip craft knife to cut out your heart shape.
5. Attach heart to another piece of white cardstock.
6. Punch circles from aqua patterned paper and attach around the edge of your heart. Stitch into place.
7. Add 3d word sticker as your title.
8. Journal on small strips of paper. Arrange around your title.
9. Add heart stickers around your title and journaling strips.
10. Tie aqua baker’s twine through clear buttons. Add to 2 photos and around your title with glue dots.
