Today I thought I would share two holiday travel journals I have made for my friends children, Darcy and Zoe.
In a few weeks they are going away on holiday to tour the outback. I thought I would make them a gift so that they can record there holiday as they tour around.
I have also bought them a pencil case each and filled it with a glue stick, small stapler, pens, pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener etc. I have always given my girls a journal to take away on holiday each year and it's fun for them to add brochures, draw pictures or write about what they saw each day. It's a lovely keepsake to look back on. I hope Darcy and Zoe enjoy the journals. Zoe loves pink so I used Heidi Grace, Sweetest Bug range. This range is just beautiful. I love the ladybirds and flowers.This range will be available in Spotlight in July.
For Darcy's journal I used Cloud 9 Designs, Max's Backyard. This range may still be found in Spotlight.
To decorate the front of each journal I punched circles using my XL Circle Squeeze punch and decorated them with cardstock stickers and punchouts. I inked the edges of the circles and added their names using letter stickers along the bottom strip.
