What fun we had today in Spotlight Bairnsdale in East Gippsland......for a few hours of crafting.....it was lovely to see some Beginner Crafters come and play....Kay came to create a lovely birthday card for the first time for her Partner and to have-a-go at Scrapbooking.......she hadn't used the trimmer or punches before.....and she did so well.
It was lovely to catch up with a few of the Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance Crafters.....Jenni came and created this gorgeous card using the Fiskars Tools and the Kaisercraft Stamps and papers from the Le Chateau Range....isn't it gorgeous!! I don't think that Jenni has ever missed one of my Fiskars Demonstrations in Spotlight Bairnsdale.....she is one lovely lady!!
I must admit I dropped by the store on Thursday to check out the new range from Kaiser and just had to purchase the Le Chateau papers and stamp set for myself.....I just fell in love with the "bird cage" stamp.....so I did up a few card samples ready for today's demo.....here's one of them... I used the Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch along one edge and then punched out a couple of birds from the Kaisercraft Le Chateau papers.....you could also just draw your own bird on the patterned paper and then cut around it with either the Fiskars Craft Knife or Fiskars Softouch Scissors....
......it was lovely to be able to help these ladies today .....and to also be able to answer some questions about the Fiskars Tools.....nice to also have all the staff come and ask questions and play with the tools.....here's the Layout that I created for crafters to create if they wished to......minus Sam's photo of course.....LOL!
Thank you to Coral,Kelly and all the Spotlight Staff for making me feel very welcome in their store....and for also giving me a table set up with 5 chairs and a table cloth.....it was a great set up today and we all had great fun!!
xoxo
