Day 1 Photos...

Wow thank you everyone for your awesome reaction to this challenge.  I just got such a wonderful surprise seeing all the beautiful photos in my inbox and I am sure we will still have more to come.  Now I am even more excited about seeing this challenge evolve.

Market Day: 

Market day Sunday the 1st of August. Kenna and I took a trip to the Midland farmer's Market. My how she loved stopping and talking with everyone lol We bought some fruit for the week some more yummo spicy tomato relish that we love on our toasted sandwiches and in our homemade sausage rolls AND a gluten free chocolate cake we just HAD to buy after the man selling them gave McKenna a huge chuck to try! The simple things that make me happy ♥

Three main food groups

Today's theme was FOOD! I know this will be my second photo for the challenge but this one depicts my three main food groups-Tea, Cake and Chocolate :) Not to mention my beloved new red with white polka dot mugs oh how I ♥ them they make me smile everytime I look at them and even more so when someone brings them to me filled with my divine chai tea.

Maureen sent through three gorgeous photos with a totally individual take on the theme which I totally love!

The second and third photos are the pollen and bees that go into making another food I love - honey.  Just couldn't resist when I saw all those bees busy at work - but I just couldn't understand why they wouldn't stay still for me LOL!!!

Xmas in August

This photo is not so much about the food itself as it is about the celebration.  We always have a Christmas in July meal with our very good friends however this year with school holidays, a couple of birthdays, a death in my friend's family and numerous other commitments we had to postpone to the 1st of August.  Here we are all ready to eat lunch at about 3.30pm this afternoon ♥
