Hello there everyone!
I have been playing with the new Fiskars interchangeable border punch system over the past week and all i can say is...WOW!!! this new border punch system is a breeze to use! And all the cartridges that you can buy for it, stack together for easy storage!
So lets all check out this great new punch system!
Here is the border punch that holds all the cartridges. This is in the starter set with the Daisy chain cartridge.
Here is the Daisy chain cartridge.
As i said before the cartridges are great because they stack.
Note how mine are all labeled. I do this so i know what their names are! i am a bit OCD with the label maker!!
This is the bottom of the cartridge. there is a indent for your finger to open the flaps on it in the middle. Also as you can see the flaps do fold in. which again is great for storage so they do not snap off.
To insert the cartridge into the border punch holder all you need to do is lift open the flaps of the cartridge, and place with the image of the design facing to you, into the holder.making sure that it is "clicked" in place and both flaps are correctly in each side.
Then you use the punch as you would any other fiskars border punch.
So there you have it! Very simple and easy. This great new system will be available in spotlight from April.
I have created a card with the starter set to share with you. I have used the Daisy chain cartridge that comes with the starter set along with a Spesch stamp Digital image, some Bo Bunny papers and Copic markers. I also used my Fiskars corner rounder, paper trimmer and micro tip scissors to cut the dragon out.
As you can see i threaded some Bella! glitter card through the border punch instead of ribbon for a different effect.
I hope you like the little tutorial about the new Fiskars interchangeable border punch system and go out there and have a go!
Tara:)

Great card Tara - love how you have woven the glitter paper through the Daisy Chain - it really makes the flowers pop!!!
Thank you for sharing the info about the new border punch system, sounds like a punch revolution, especially on the storage front :)
