I have been inspired to Scrap again since the birth of our two gorgeous grandkids....SAMUEL (2 and a half) and GEMMA (8 months)......I've been all inspired again to Scrap as much as I can when I have the time.....well....actully...................I make the time.....crafting gives me soooooooooo much pleasure and I find it very relaxing.......do others craft for enjoyment,relaxation......I hope so...let us know.
I had fun using papers from Stampin Up...and the top 12 x 12 acetate sheet is from Kaisercraft....found it last week in Spotlight Bairnsdale on the shelves...so I knew what I was going to create with it straight away.......
I found a chipboard word (family) in my stash....inked it up and attached it to the top
Using a permanent marker I added the year on top of these pearl brads from Cristina Re

Here's another LAYOUT of SAM and my hubby Rod in SAM'S PLAYPEN together.....instigated by SAM.....with Rod obliging.....LOL! Such a fun memory to have recorded....
I've used some Stampin Up Butterfly Punches on this one and my Fiskars My Funny Valentine Squeeze Punch...... added some doodling.....something I use to do a lot of on my layouts...so now I'm getting back into it....and loving it...I'm going to add some beads to the bodies though on these butterflies....just because I can.......he.he.
I used my Fiskars Microtip Scissors (available in Spotlight Stores) to handcut around all the letters.....there is 3 -D adhesive under each letter....time consuming...but well worth it....
I have more shares...but will save them for another day.....some LAYOUTS for the kids albums and some for our FAMILY ALBUM.....
I have also added more pages to GEMMA'S JOURNAL that I started last year......so I've been really happily crafting away....trying to get in as much as I can before we head overseas in 2 weeks time...woohoo.......................going on holidays to EUROPE...and visiting FLORIADE in VENLO....out from AMSTERDAM......then heading from AMSTERDAM to BUDAPEST on a RIVER CRUISE....so excited!!!
I hope others are able to get crafty with the colder weather now hitting us.....makes staying indoors so much more fun when you can get your hands motivated and dirty.....getting inky and sticky....such a great feeling!
