Time for a New Book Bag

Hi all
My daughters book bag for school is very tatty after two and a half years of use....
Unlike her brothers book bag which is only 6 months old and beautiful...

Well I was given some great looking upholstery fabric that my daughter loved! So decided to get to work on my sewing machine and ended up with this....

I doubled up the fabric too. So that it wears better and looks great on the inside. Also quilted a zig zag stitch over top so that the fabric sits better.

Normal book bags are done up with velcro... I didn't have any on hand but had some large domes....

Now that should last a while and through to the end of middle school...(2 and a half more years) here's crossing fingers!
