REMEMBER I shared a sneak peek early this week............................well here is the finished project! A Cupcake Mini Album for my grandaughter GEMMA.......of pics and journaling from her 1st Birthday Party held recently.......................I am so impressed with myself for getting this completed so quickly..................................I just needed to make some ME TIME to craft this past few weeks.....as I find it very therapeutic with all that's going on at the moment in our family.
GEMMA looked so darn cute in her PINK PARTY DRESS......she never wears dresses......she is such a little TOMBOY.....LOL! Mind of her own and as tough as..............................
I had fun painting the edges and embellishing the Kaisercraft Cupcake pages...... my Fiskars Fingertip Knife sure got a great workout......love....love....love this knife.
I also used up some more ribbons from my stash to add to the rings....................and some stickers and papers from Cloud Nine......these products have been sitting in my stash just waiting to be used...
I tried to include as many family pics as I could so that GEMMA and SAM will have fun looking through the Album and be able to recognise everyone who attended. Sadly...I didn't take everyone.....but as many family members as I could................
GEMMA was coming down with a cold on the day...............but she was soooooooooooo sociable.....our little social butterfly......LOL!
Her CAKE looked amazing....and there was soooooooooooo much Party Food!
I had so many pics...that I had to put some on the back cover as well...................but I'm sure the kids will love looking through this Book. If you look closely ...you can see my hubby Rod with SAM on his knee........these two are such good buddies......they always have a great time together.
I'll let you into a little secret......I purchased this Mini Album 2 years ago thinking that I would add SAM'S first birthday party pics to it.......WELL.....that didn't happen did it.....LOL! It was slowly becoming another UFO (unfinished object) until I decided to get my act together and make it for GEMMA'S first birthday....oh well.............I did enjoy doing it ..and it was nice to get the paints out for a change...haven't really used them for ages.......giving it to her and the family Thursday when we visit.

What a great album, the perfect way to remember her 1st birthday. I am sure they will love looking thru this. Our daughter loves looking at photos of herself and the extended family. We have a little album that i have made for her with random pics of us all and it is her fav book.
Great job Lyn.
