a winning TEAM

 

Hi everyone,

Just checking in from PAYNESVILLE where we have been spending some time relaxing and doing some maintenance on our holiday home down here......

REMEMBER I posted last week that we were attending a family CUP DANCE on Raymond Island on Saturday Night......well............guess what?.......we won a prize for the BEST DRESSED COUPLE.....LOL!

So my trip into the REJECT SHOP paid off.....won ourselves a lovely bottle of GERMAN WINE....LOL!

It was a fantastic,fun night....full of laughter....dancing......fine food and drink....and we didn't miss the Ferry back to PAYNESVILLE this time......LOL!

Nothing like a Make do hat.......black boa,silver hat and a black cardstock band with punched out horses using my Fiskars Horse Lever Punch....lucky I had it with me......but they are available in SPOTLIGHT....and I know SPOTLIGHT BAIRNSDALE have them in stock....saw some last week whilst in the store.

For Rod's hat I used a Silver Bowler Hat from the Reject Shop and adhered the puncched out black horses from my hat onto the edge....then went looking for a plastic horse to add to the top...the only one I could find was a My Little Pony......so we went with that........bit of fun...and we had a great night. I also purchased the silver bow tie from the REJECT SHOP.

Is anyone else going to the MELBOURNE CUP or perhaps a CUP DAY PARTY,BBQ,etc.........it's a great chance to dress up and have fun with family or friends....OR both.

thanks ladies.....we had such a fun night dancing the night away and singing along with the band......so nice to let your hair down every now and again......LOL!.....and....well the wine helped a bit too....he,he.
