Childs room Christmas make over.... part 1 - a wreath

Hi all

My thing every year the lounge and kitchen gets decorated wonderfully..... the hallway gets a little decorating but the rest of the house is just left.....

My aim this year is to start on decorating the kids rooms.... I have a boy and an girl both at school and under 8yrs old.

So this is the start of that project..... Hopefully I get it all finished before Christmas though! LOL

First of all here is a Christmas wreath....

I stretched out the wire from a spiral bound note pad that was used up and made it into a circle. I then proceeded to use the Fiskars Templates I had and the Ultra shape express to cut out holly leaves and punched out circles to decorate the wire circle with Kaisercrafts twig and berry collection papers.

of course glitter glue helps sparkle it up and a satin ribbon at the base really makes it pop!

 

I'll post something else next week.... just finishing it off and I'll be able to show you... ;)

Pretty wreath Debbie - love the paper (both sides) you have used and your clever recycling!!!
... I have my Christmas Shape Template out ready for some holly leaf making too :)
