Childs room Christmas make over.... part 4 - the finished look

Hi all

I have finished off the childs room make over...
the last thing I made for the room make over was a small string of christmas shapes....

Yes they are hanging near the door to the bedroom.

you may also recognise the fabrics used... yes they are fabric shapes...I stiffened the fabric with liquid fabric stiffener (available at zigzag.co.nz) then used both christmas 1 & 2 shape templates with the Ultra shape expess to cut them out.

I enhanced some shapes with Jacquard 3D lumiere paints and a star embellishment.

Strung them together with DMC embroiders thread (a failed experiment at making my own bakers twine, hence the red marks on the thread.)

Here is the finished look in my daughters room...

More Christmasy than before but there is room for more - but that may have to come next year. I still haven't got the kids christmas pressies yet.... and yes I'm freaking out!!!!
