this past weekend, here are a couple of fotos of what we found while we there.
It's always a bit of a trek to get to events like this for us lil' people,
"they" need to drive "us" two and a half hours ...
but we do have some fun when we are allowed out.
We were keen to see if there was any Fiskars products around, and well, sadly it was difficult to find any, but we did find a lot of Fiskars cutting tools on Scissorman's Stand, we kindly asked Trevor if we could have a look around, look at em all.
"we was in scissor heaven"
We also were very happy to find fellow Fiskars Aussie Demonstrator AZZA....
she was there demonstrating some stamping techniques, and showed us a few things.
We miss this girl, we miss doing the shows for Fiskars, and we all feel that we should see each other more often, this is a sentiment that I have about all of our demonstrators past and present, and one we all say way too often.......
"WE DONT SEE EACH OTHER ENOUGH"
so beware D1 has it in her head that she should share some of her Fiskars memories a bit more & D1 also acquired some scrapping mojo of late.
So even if we don't see each other irl,
my next post may make you remember and smile a little.

We would like to congratulate one of our very talented Fiskars Demonstrators......the lovely Debbie Guihot from Canowindra in New South Wales.............
Craft enthusiasts from all over the country are set to see Debbie Guihot’s latest quilting creation as part of the travelling ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ exhibition held in conjunction with the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair.
Six weeks of hard work paid off for Mrs Guihot when she was chosen as a finalist in this year’s Australian Patchwork & Quilting and Australasian Quilt Convention (AP&Q AQC) Quilting Challenge.
Her quilt, ‘Forbidden Fruit’, features the snake from the Garden of Eden tempting Adam and will go on display as part of the prestigious exhibition.
The quilt was inspired by the bible reference “Out of the darkness grew a wondrous tree. And God said to Adam ‘Eat not the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden.’
