A large mat in the center of this page groups the photos and journaling together, which makes creating a cohesive page a breeze!  I dressed up the simple design by scattering embellishments around my other elements and used stitching to tie it all together.

Instructions (Print version)

1. Trim white cardstock to 11.5x11.5in and attach to a piece of black cardstock.  Stitch around the edge.
2. Trim a 7.25x9.5in mat from black polka dot patterned paper and attach to the middle of the white cardstock.
3. Trim strips of pink polka dot patterned paper using scallop edgers and attach to 3 sides of the black polka dot patterned paper. Stitch in place.
4. Add photos as shown.
5. Trim 2 pieces of pink striped patterned paper to 2x3.5 in and attach on the mat.
6. Journal on the bottom piece of pink striped patterned paper.  Add stitching and a heart to the right side.
7. Stamp kids on a chipboard tag, and again on coordinating patterned papers.  Use the fingertip swivel craft knife to cut elements from the stamped images and add them to your stamped tag.  This is a great way to create a custom embellishment to match any page!
8. Add tag to the top piece of pink striped patterned paper with a black brad.  Add chipboard hearts next to the tag and stitch into place.
9. Trim accent from patterned paper and attach next to photo.  Add a heart to the upper right of the photo.  Stitch both elements in place.
10. Trim words from patterned paper and arrange under the photo.  Add chipboard hearts to either side and stitch into place.
11. Add a chipboard bookplate around your words.  Attach with black brads.
