I confess I am behind in organising my kids school memories but not this year! I have created this album on a box for my daughter. Each term I will record her highlights in written form, add 4 6x6 layouts and anything too big or lumpy will go into the box part. Perfect!
I was inspired by something similar I saw in a shop. I loved the concept of an album which was attached to a box. Not everything needs or fits into an album and this seems a perfect solution for school time memories. An album and treasure box combined in one.
I have used the gorgeous Oh So Loved range by Heidi Grace. The box is a paper mache cigar box which I have painted with Gesso and then added the Oh So Loved range. I have made the album cover by covering chipboard with the patterned paper, adding embellishments and drilling holes through it and the top of the box.
Fiskars tools used to create this are:
Fiskars 12" Trimmer - cutting and scorer blades
Fiskars Squeeze punch - circle
Fiskars Stamps - Basic Font and Girlfriends stamps
Drill
So cool Lesley! Its very pretty and also practical. Love it. Thanks for sharing!

This is such a fantastic idea!! Now I'm feeling guilty that I have missed the boat somewhat with my 2, but maybe I can do a Primary school momento box for each of them.
Love the whole concept Lesley.
