I must have been the most deprived child! I remember other kids getting lollies or chewing gum from the dairy by the Intermediate school & you got free collectable cards!! I had to catch a bus (I lived in the country) and we were not allowed to go & buy lollies from the dairy!! But it wasn't all bad. I do remember Minties & Wine Gums being favourites at home! And I hardly had any fillings in my teeth as a child! LOL

Trina, Fags (now called Fads in our politically correct world) were also a favourite of mine. All the kids used to pretend to smoke them lol

I used to walk to school in my early years with a boy. His Mum used to give me 20 cents sometimes for lollies from the corner shop (my best friend's Mum owned the shop). I could get 40 lollies for 20cents. Mum sometimes gave me 5 cents which seemed such a lot of money so to be given 20 cents was awesome.
