It's New Year's Eve in Australia & New Zealand!

WOW.....where did the year go? OMG.......it's the last day of 2008.....can you believe it?

So what plans do you have to bring in the New Year? Are you going to go out and celebrate with family or friends, have a quite night at home....what are your plans?

Rod and I are going out to a friend's place for a good old Aussie BBQ!.........we love getting together with Nancy and Gerry.......they only live 15 minutes away but we haven't seen them for months now......so sad...but hey....tonight we catch up and share stories ,jokes and family happenings.......I'm so looking forward to it! Nancy sings and plays the piano so I think we'll be having a good old sing -a-long around the piano ......I love doing that....even though I can't sing...I sure do have fun trying......LOL!

We always like to take some food when we go out to a BBQ so I'm making pavlova and fruit salad and our hosts shall supply the meat and salads. We love BBQ'S.........

I love to cook. I love trying different recipes and I quite often cut recipes out of magazines or print them off the internet. A great way of keeping all your recipes in one place is in a recipe box.

A recipe box would also make a great gift.

December Challenge Xmas decorations

Hi guys,

Thought we'd put a little reminder up about this months challenge.

It finishes in just a couple of days.

A quick album for Christmas

Am very lucky to have wonderful parents that have taken two of my children off my hands to give me a few days break before Christmas and the arrival of our forth child.

So after catching up on a few Design Team things I had a chance to do what I love best of all.... Scrap just for the fun of it and just for me. I pulled out my Cloud 9 Kit Christmas Kit that I had been calling my name since it was sent to me by Fiskars what seems like ages ago. Wanted to make up a mini album to put some of the Christmas photos into, rather than having just the one picture hanging around to remember Christmas.

I also had another motive as I wanted to try out this album for a future project, **shhhh it's a secret** for our crops here in Adelaide.

I love the colours that Cloud 9 have gone with this year. more traditional Christmas colours that I can see will play nicely with sepia or black and white photos.

I still have so much left in the kit too to be able to do up a few layouts of my favourite photos from Christmas too...

Off to scrap so more now... while my youngest child is napping...

Sending everyone Christmas cheer and greetings for the new year. I probably won't be around much from now till the new year as I will taking some time for me and the family before my next bubs is due.

Thanks to my fellow Fiskars Ambassadors/Demonstrators, Fiskars Head Office, Lyn Dwyer (my saviour at times of need), the lovely group of ladies that have helped make the Fiskars Crops here in Adelaide such a success this year, and everyone else that has left comments about our impending new arrival. Will keep everyone posted about our new arrival.

"Kids Challenge" @ Fiskars Craft

Hi everyone,

Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and have enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

I sure have had a lovely time catching up with family members and friends......that's what I love about the Christmas/Boxing Day and New Year time of the year.  Just getting together and chatting and sharing stories with loved ones.

We have decided to run another KIDS CHALLENGE on here for the month of January.......so make sure you pop back in on January 1st for further details.

We were so impressed with the standard of entries we received last school holidays that we have decided to do another SCHOOL HOLIDAYS CHALLENGE for the KIDS!
