It's been 13 years since my beloved cat died and finally I have brought myself to complete a layout.
I was looking back through an old Filofax type of diary and found the journaling written soon after his death. I admit that even after 13 years, it brought tears to my eyes, but also smiles. The kids have asked me so much about Jaffa so at last they can see it all on one page.
I find it easier to keep multi photo layouts quite simple and in this case, the photos and journaling needed to be the big focus. The colours from the Cloud 9 paper & Heidi Grace embellishments mixed in well with the coloured photos. I've also used stamped words from a Fiskars set of Sentiment words.
Apologies if the journaling is a little difficult to read. It was hard to photograph without shine due to the transparency used.
TFL:)
A gorgeous layout and wonderful journalling Donna. I think that doing a layout such as this such a great idea, to both honour our special friends, and to help with the grieving. After 8 years I still cry too when I read the journalling on the layout I did for my beloved doggie, Chevvy.

I agree with Cindy Donna, what a beautiful tribute to your mate, they are such a big part of the family and he sounds like a real character with the antics he used to get up to!! tfs.
