This new tool is fine for tiny project for players but the best product ever made for
quilters and sewers is the craft and quilting rotary ruler. I have given them for gifts for about 7 years and everyone love them. I am amazed by how unaware the sewing public is to this day. For a Grandmothers Dream quilt I needed 2& 1/2 yards of 8 colors. I cut 16 YARDS in a few hours. It took everyone else two days and sore hands and backs. When I went to Walmart to buy three for gifts as they are great for young people to use in learning to quilt, I found they were discontinued. The new tool might work for little pieces on small projects, as I said but the workhorse is the 24" rotary ruler. I use it for every quilt I make and cut per average, as do most 14 or more yards per, unless for an infant.
I would give free demonstrations with this tool to keep it on the market. There has never been a better product made for the quilter nor has there ever been a product as safe. Thank you, Cynthia Lahti, Grays River, Washington.
