Hi all,
It was my youngest's 6th birthday in June! I can't believe where that time has gone - i know everyone says that but it is sooo true. i went looking at my old photos on the external hard drive 9 lol- that sounds funny- not in an album but a hard drive lol) anyway.. and it was amazing to see her as a toddler and compare it to now :) I am raving soo to the layouts...
This first one is of the girl herself. We hired a clown and it was great fun- she painted faces, which was THE hit. I used to heavily embellish my pages- loads of stuff on them - but these days i am LOVING white space on my pages, I have always like this look, but i guess i never knew when to stop. Just like my little girl changing, so has my scrapping over time. so here it is....
Materials used are; Background cardstock is CLOUD ( Max's backyard- butterfly shadows (the reverse side), the spotty paper is HEIDI GRACE - Sweetest bug range ( reverse side ) of Charming Collage.
The scalloped paper is the sweetest bug again - flocked paper, I cut the clouds from HEIDI GRACE - baby range shimmer flocked paper - clouds, the little birthday hat comes form HEIDI GRACE birthday range paper, and the cardstock sticker is also from the range.
The other layout is of my middle daughter Molly with her face painted from the same party. The clown used different designs but this one was a definite fave.Again, loads of white space on this page.
I have used the HEDI GRACE sweetest bug green spots again, the birthday cardstock sticker and the striped paper, i think is from the birthday range again. I enjoyed using the threading water punch randomly around the edge. My daughter thinks it looks like i slipped and made a mistake lol- BUT i meant to do it and i like it - so i guess that's all that matters! I also used the Fiskars flower template for the large flower and for the circle centres on each flower. Oh I almost forfot the stickers are CLOUD 9 too.
School is back this week, so back to the grindstone for this homeschooling Mum. Happy days to you all. Until next time...
Bye

Lovely Shell. My girls adored having their faces painted when they were younger.
