Hi everyone. Just needed to share with you what I've been up to...
And just in time I've finished!
I've decided to have a homemade Christmas this year.
I made Barbie clothing and the packging to go with it for my daughter...
I used an A4 ziplock bag.
Plain cardboard (non corrugated).
Covered the board with pink cardstock (Cloud9 Alyssa's Garden)
Stapled the clothing to the board.
Added the packaging topper - used fiskars corner squeeze punch and Fiskars Corner boarder punch - lace and lattice (the boarder punch available through wholesalers now) - I did however take of the lattice bit of the punch.
Printed out the barbie logo from the net.
I used Heidi Grace No8 Fiskars scissors to cut out the fabric pieces.
and various tools from the Fiskars 12-in-1 sewing tool.
The ribbon on the skirt is from Li'l Davis Designs - rockstar ribbon ruby (old stock)
Top, trousers, jacket, skirt and "blouse" - all made by me on the sewing machine for Barbie.
Now I think a Five year old will be happy with this. ;)
What a fantastic gift! Your daughter will love these. Wish I was a kid again!

GREAT work Debbie - you sure are talented with your crafting.
Your daughter will be so pleased with the designer outfits for her Barbie (& I bet they are much better quality than the ones you can buy too!!!) and to have made the packaging too - you are a champion :)
