Okay, so I know we're getting close to Christmas and that I should probably be posting Christmas Cards (I will on another day - promise), but NOVEMBER is a huge month for me for birthdays so I thought I'd share the card I made for my mum.
A couple of scraps of matching papers, some rhinestone flourish off-cuts (yep, keep them for just such a use), a few flowers and ribbons that tie-in with the colour theme, a Mrs Grossmans laser cut sticker and some glitter glue were all I needed to create this pretty, yet simple card.
I used my Fiskars portable trimmer to cut the papers to size, tearing one and inking the edge to distress it a little, and I used my Fiskars Fingertip Rotary Trimmer to cut the ribbon. The laser cut sticker started out an off-white colour but some ink and glitter glue transformed it into a pretty greeting.
So don't spend a fortune buying run-of-the-mill store bought cards...pull out some scraps and create a gorgeous one-of-a-kind masterpiece !
