great card.... and those died easter eggs are awesome... How did you get them so vivid in colour?

I can't get hold of white eggs this easter so have to use light brown ones. Prob have to do the boiled egg thing though as my littlies will not be able to handle the blown egg shells without them breaking.

Annette

Hey Debbie nice to hear from you:0) Funnily enough we had the same problem only brown eggs so the kids were a little frustrated that they were dull, i thought they were okay but they obviously had some colour in their mind and couldn't quite achieve it. Anyway we used about 1/2 a cup of water, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 30 drops of food colouring. To get the little dots, Maddison stuck rhinestones all over the egg so the dye wouldn't take to those bits, good idea on her part,(instead of hot wax with a candle) i wasn't so keen on all my rhinestones being used LOL!! i just did a quick google search and came across this http://how2heroes.com/videos/techniques/dyeing-marbling-easter-eggs. haven't watched the video but the photo looks awesome, wish i had found it last week (I am supposed to be packing to go away right now!!) Anyway let me know if you have a go at it (I reckon you'll be tempted :0) Happy Easter to you and your family Debbie. A:0)

Bet the kids had such fun even though Maddison sucked it the wrong way.....LOL! At least you had the camera handy and got that expression on her face....so darn funny!

Have a lovely time away......Happy Easter!

Gorgeous card, pretty eggs and such fun photos Annette - even with the raw egg incident !!!

Very effective use of B&W photos in contrast with the bright colours of the eggs - LOVE IT :o)

Hope you all have a very Happy Easter :)
