Why not try creating your own Floral Arrangement to brighten up your Christmas Table this year!!
It's really not that hard....all you need are some flowers and greenery from your garden....or if you don't have many plants...ask a neighbour if you can use some of theirs....that way it cuts down the cost....to repay the favour...you could also make one for your neighbour.
I really love creating handmade Floral Arrangements....just by adding a candle to the centre it gives your arrangement a bit of a lift.....I embellished my candle by using my Fiskars Trimmer and Fiskars Effervescence Border Punch.....................then I also punched out some shapes using the Fiskars Pine For Me Limited Edition Squeeze Punch.....but you could use another squeeze punch to have a similar effect......perhaps a "star", "hearts", "circles",etc. To cut the flowers from my plants I used my trusty Fiskars Pruners.
To see a Step by Step Instruction to create something like this you can go to
http://fiskarscraft.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/12/step-by-step-floral-arrangement.html
I created this one in 2009 but it shows you what you need to get started and how to go about it!
So seeing it's only JUNE you have plenty of time to start practising before the Silly Season starts later in the year.................maybe try and create something for a family birthday to start with....
Most of all have fun creating your handmade Floral Arrangement! If you have any questions.....just leave them in the comments section below here.....

Pretty trim on your candle Lyn and I love how you have
combined the roses with the natives in your arrangement :)
