Hi there are wonderful touches of Spring all around the lovely city of Christchurch. This also means in my family it is another change of season and a change of wardrobe for growing children.
The above dress was made by me using Fiskars Pinking shears, and No 8 scissors.To cut out the pieces.
I draughted the pattern myself from an existing dress in her wardrobe. I made it 2 sizes bigger than that one. That was a good guess as the original dress I used for the pattern was with stretch fabric the above dress is made with cotton fabric.
It fits my daughter well but she better not grow too fast this summer. lol
Now I'm off to put the kids to bed so I can make myself my skirt. ;) Show you that later....
