What do you give to a 60 year old Male friend?
Well I put my thinking cap on last week and got out my trusty Fiskars Craft Tools along with some of my favourite Stampin Up Stamps......
I knew that Don loves music and is an excellent Base Guitar player and singer....so I knew my Fiskars Interchangable Noteworthy Border Punch would come in handy....
I grabbed my Fiskars Trimmer and Microtip Scissors and cut down some cardstock.............
mmmm...Don loves Nature.....a landscape gardener by trade...so I grabbed my Fiskars Lever punches....and also my Fiskars Craft Mat,Ultra Shape Express Shape Cutter and Circles Template...........
I love how the little punched pieces just collect underneath the Lever Punches...................
....and this is what I came up with for Don's Birthday Card....
I just added a small Voucher for a Men's Clothing Store in Bairnsdale...so that Don could choose something for himself....after all.....
WHAT DO YOU GIVE A 60 YEAR OLD MALE?.......LOL!
So if you have a Card that you would like to make for that someone special....why not have a go at making it yourself...it's so much more personal to make a card.....start by really thinking about what the person likes....favourite hobbies, work ideas, favourite colours, maybe create Male Cards in a favourite Footy Teams' Colours.....fishing,golf.....maybe use some stickers.....but it's also great to use Punches...they are quick and easy!
I hope I have inspired you to get crafty and start dusting off those tools that you have hidden around the home.......LOL!
...and if you are NEW to crafting and need to purchase a few tools....then a good Trimmer and pair of Scissors is essential....... look around for other tools that you think you might like to use.....eg...punches....try your local craft store..maybe visit Spotlight,Lincraft,Officeworks.......try your local Scrapbook Store.....if you are having trouble finding tools then send us a message via the Contact Us LINK on here and we'll endeavour to point you in the right direction!
xoxo
