I've been having a lovely time creating a fun birthday card for my Daughter-in-law Sally using some leftover products from the Bella glittered cardstock range I have been prepping for the ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW. I loved creating with PINK for a change.....and this glittered Bella Cardstock is lovely to use on my projects.
I got out 3 of my Fiskars Lever Punches.....can you see which ones they are?
I also had my Fiskars Everywhere Burst Punch out after finishing off my grandkids cards.....so thought I'd also use it on Sally's Card....card was cut using my Fiskars Surecut Trimmer.
Ink used was by Stampin Up and the birdie sticker I purchased in Spotlight weeks ago.
ok................I have a question for you all.................
How would you like to win one of these Fiskars Blue Ribbon Punches?
All you have to do is tell us what you would do with it if you won it.......here's a little gift card I created as an example....and with OCTOBER being BREAST CANCER AWARENESS month you might like to give this to a friend....maybe make a card to brighten someones day.......we'd love to know what you could do with this fabulous Fiskars Squeeze Punch.....so just leave a comment below here...and good luck...we have 3 to give away.......................so GO FOR IT !!!!
If you are creating projects during OCTOBER....why not use some PINK.....and then send us through some pics to share with others.......
I'm hosting a GIRLS DAY IN during OCTOBER....so if anyone would like to attend just let me know...the date is MONDAY OCTOBER 22nd. More details soon......but keep the date free.....we'll also be having some fun right here on the Blog....and thanks to FISKARS AUSTRALIA participants shall have the chance to win some great prizes.

Debbie's interchangeable punch challenge closes on the 25th September, so you still have a couple of days left to get it finished and e-mailed in for your chance to win a fabulous Fiskars "True Love" stamp set.
If you missed it, here is the link to the challenge post.
I have started collecting the fabulous Interchangeable Punch Cartridges, so it was fun for me to play along and make some stepper cards to share.
Here is Daisy Chain, the cute cartridge that comes with the starter kit - front view
Here is the side view so that you can see the steps
The first cartridge I added to my collection is Ivy League - here is the front view
And here is the side view so that you can see the steps
The Interchangeable Punch is a wonderful innovation by Fiskars - the cartridges are easy to insert & remove, they stack neatly, hardly taking up any storage space at all AND they are beautiful designs too!!!
LOTS of other fabulous Fiskars punches were used to decorate these cards. The sparkly flowers are the small Flower lever punch, large butterfly is Flit On By LE squeeze punch, the small butterflies are the small Butterfly lever punch, two different birds including LE Flight and LE Bird Is The Word squeeze punches, with the one sitting in the Branching Out squeeze punch nest having its' wings clipped off using my Micro-Tip scissors. In case you're wondering how I made my punchouts sparkly, I ran them all through my Xyron Create-a-sticker, pressed firmly, ran around the edges with my Embossing Stylus, peeled off the clear layer then smothered them with glitter.
I hope you enjoyed the cards I have made using my Interchangeable Punch Cartridges and I look forward to seeing your projects being shared here soon ... don't forget, entries close 25th September.
What - you don't have an Interchangeable Punch yet???
Time for you to head on over to the Spotlight FaceBook page, print off your 25% off coupon and head down to your local Spotlight store with your coupon & VIP card and bag a bargain ... or two!!!
PS - Both cards were made using the Stepper Card Bases from Fundamentals (currently on sale at Spotlight in packs with expanding envelopes) and they stand a HUGE 8 1/4 inches tall!!! The alphas are my 1st ever pack of DIY Thickers - you peel off the top layer and smother it with glitter, then peel off each alpha and apply it to your project. We have three nieces with birthdays within ten days and I'm making them each a stepper card. You have now seen the 1st two. Sadly the alpha pack only has three p's, so I have improvised with the sentiments for each one - Happy Birthday, Celebrate and Party Girl, with Party Girl still in progress.

The latest September Papercraft Challenge entry comes from Beryl in New Zealand.....here's what she had to say......
I Really enjoyed doing this card as Spring is one of my favourite times of
the year. My Fiskars scissors, cutting mat, finger knife & rotary
cutter all got well used.
Warm fuzzies,

Good evening everyone! As the heading states....you can make more with Fiskars!......i made a viking!
Astrid from how to train your dragon to be exact.
Zoe had her book week parade today and the theme was Champions. So Zoe decided she would go as Astrid. she is a Champion in the book and the movie for helping save Toothless the dragons life.
And with anything i seem to make or create, my Fiskars tools come out in full force to help me out.
Here is a pic of Zoe's costume.
First up were her boots. To make these i took an old pair of uggs and some fur fabric, then using my Fiskars rotary trimmer cut the fur to fit the tops of her boots. And of course i used my Fiskars Cutting mat!
Next up were Zoe's shoulder pads.
To make these i used my Fiskars trimmer to cut 1 inch bits of silver card stock. When i had enough i put them all together and used my Fiskars sprung loaded hole punch and setters. They are great if you do not want to use a hammer. Then i just popped a brad though and fanned the card out. add a skull and done!
Last was Zoe's Viking skirt.
This used quite a few Fiskars tools!
I used my Fiskars trimmer and Scissors to cut the panels, then Zoe took the small circle squeeze punch and cut out a bunch of silver circles to glue on the panels. To tie all the panels together to make a skirt i grabbed my Fiskars leave it to Weaver border punch and punched the top of all the panels then thread through brown ribbon to tie it all together.
What i thought was going to be a nightmare to make was so much easier with a few Fiskars tools.
When you think of your Fiskars tools sometimes if you think outside the box you will see another 100 uses for them like i did today!
Tara :)

Did you know that the Fiskars Night Owl squeeze Punch is available in Spotlight Stores....would be a great tool for crafting Halloween Projects.......I spotted these in my local Spotlight Store in Bayswater today when I took a quick trip down there looking for some craft glue to take to the Royal Melbourne Show this Saturday.
I really only needed the liquid adhesive.......but after chatting to another lady in the store....half an hour later I left....with the Helmar 450 adhesive.....AND......2 rolls of Christmas Wrap paper, a Fundamentals A4 Decoupage Pack which is on sale for $3.....and some 3 year old Fiskars Scissors for my grandon SAM.........LOL! At least I got $10 off with my VIP Discount Voucher....he.he.
I spotted these Interchangeable Border Punches and extra Cartridges on the shelves along with these..
.......some Fiskars Kids Scissors...I grabbed a pair of the 3+ ones at $2.99 for SAM.....I love how Fiskars cater for all ages with their great scissor range.....I don't know another company that does this in such a BIG way.......lots of different cartridges for the Fiskars Everywhere Punch
I must admit I love shopping in this store as it always has such a HUGE RANGE of FISKARS CRAFT TOOLS.....and also lots of the Ruby Rock It, Fundamentals and Bella products that I like to use in my crafting projects.
The Fiskars Circle Cutter is still on the shelves in slightly different packaging....this is a great tool for making those 1" to 8" circles.
....and HEY look what else I spotted on the shelves......some NEW Limited Edtion Squeeze Punches like Tracy spotted in her local Spotlight the other day in Frankston.....ooh la la.......gotta' love that Dragon fly punch.......shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I've had one here since last year compliments of the then Lead Fiskateer Rebecca Peck.......and I must admit I love using it on my Cards.
.....these limited edition punches also come in the Lever Punch....Spotlight are ranging the Horse Punch and the Seahorse Punch.....both very cute punches and fun punches for the kids to use.
Have YOU spent your $10 VIP discount Voucher yet? Actually maybe this was just the Bayswater store doing this....I'm not too sure.....another thing I love about shopping in Spotlight....
Did you know that you can ask for a Shopping Bag Card.....and each time you shop without using one of their plastic bags you get your card punched.....and after so many punches....you get 25 % off any one item.......not bad hey!! The lovely ladies in Spotlight Bairnsdale told me about this offer last year...thanks Coral and Rhonda.
Well that's my Fiskars product spotting for this week! Have you spotted some Fiskars Craft Tools in a store near you?
xoxo

Hi all
Next month we are doing a breast cancer awareness month here on the blog...
But I want to give you all a heads up...
if you are thinking of getting your hair cut for this coming hot summer season why not donate your long locks to a cancer patient that needs it as a wig?
Go to these websites to know more about donating your long hair to a cancer patient for a wig...
http://www.beautifullengths.co.nz/
http://www.beautifullengths.com.au/
I am going to get my hair cut off next Thursday...
yes I do have about 20cm or more to donate.... so thrilled I can help out someone who needs it...
I hope you can do the same. Hair always grows back.
I will come back to show you my new cut. :)
While you are at it also make an appointment to donate blood.... ;)
Another way to help someone that is sick...
happy donating!
