Remember how I spotted some new Limited Edition punches at my local Spotlight store last month? ... well I could NOT resist temptation!!!
The Yeigh or Neigh lever punch pranced into my crafty tool stash and is perfect for my niece who LOVES My Little Pony :)
Here is the card I made for her. Even though it is a rainbow of colours, there is plenty of pink for our Think Pink month.
When I asked my husband whether the rainbow horses looked better than the plain white ones, he said "why not have both?", so I did and I love how they turned out, the white "shadow" really makes them pop :)
As always, I had lots of fun using my Fiskars punches. This was also the very first workout for my Groovy Rainbow and Up In The Clouds Interchangeable border punch cartridges - LOVE THEM!!!
Other Fiskars tools include the medium Cloud squeeze punch, large Soleil (sun) squeeze punch and of course my trusty green Self Healing Craft Mat and Finger-Tip Craft Knife. I think the clouds and sun work really well with border punches and look forward to using them together again and again!!!
Nearly forgot, I used my Orange Handled Scissors to trim the border punched strips to the edge of the card base. The card is 6x6" - it is the perfect width to fit the pattern of the punches.
Hope you enjoyed my card and have a Crafty Day :)
This is so cute, my heart is galloping!!
