Recycle those CHRISTMAS CARDS.....here's how

ok.....so we all end up with Christmas Cards and if you are like me it's hard to just throw them out....so DON'T.......RECYCLE them...as I have done.

We received some gorgeous Handmade Cards this Christmas so I have decided to re-purpose these.....by just cutting off the top part of the card and attaching this to a new sheet of cardstock....

So I got out my trusty Fiskars Trimmer and started trimming......and here's the re-purposed card that came originally from Tamara...thanks Tam....

Here's another handmade  card that I received from Tracy

...and I turned this into a re=purposed card in readiness for Christmas 2013.

I really loved how Tracy created this Christmas Tree....so now I'm spreading the love a little further next Season.....it's a bit like the gift that keeps gifting.....................

Now with the COMMERCIAL CARDS that we received.....I have decided to make little GIFT BOXES......I just sorted through the ones we received today.....

I started with the Square Santa Card........thought this would make a cute little Gift Box.................

Firstly I got out my Fiskars Trimmer and used both the trimming blade and the scoring blade...................I also used my Fiskars Microtip Scissors and Circle Hand Punch and 3 in 1 Corner Punch on the Tag

So now I have another Christmas Gift Box suitable to hold a Voucher/Gift Card....maybe some soaps,perfume,sweets,etc....

I hope I have inspired some of you to have a go at recycling your Christmas Cards......and keep spreading that love of GIVING......don't throw your cards in the bin.....re-cycle....re-purpose....and have fun !
