Hello there!
As christmas has now been and gone, and the kids will be going back to school soon, i finally managed to get my thank you cards done to send to everyone who gave my kids pressies for xmas.
Boy there were a few to be made! so i needed a simple design that could be made quickly and look clean and simple.
This is what i came up with.
Above are 3 of the cards i made using several different Fiskars border punches.
I cut out my card stock to make A5 card using my Fiskars trimmer. then cut out slightly smaller piece of black card stock with my Fiskars trimmer also.
Then i took my Fiskars order punches and punched the bottom edge. With these cards i used on the top card - Fiskars groovy rainbow interchangeable border punch, the middle card Fiskars Jester border punch and for the bottom card i used Fiskars kaleidoscope border punch.
THen i used some metal dies to punch out the word thanks, backed the black card with patterned paper with some of the cards and other just left them so you can see through them.
these cards only took me less than 10min each to make and once i had my little production line going i managed to make 15 in under and hour!
I love how the Fiskars border punches look punched in black and over brightly coloured card stock. it really makes the patterns pop!
