I do not know about you, but whenever i am using my Fiskars border punches,i tend to punch just that little bit too much border so i have to trim it down., or you want some specific part of the border punch to use. When this happens, i have a little box, actually it is an old stampin up stamp plastic box, that i use to keep all those bits in. They are great to add to your project if after finishing it, you find it just needs that little bit more.
Here is the card i made.
As you can see i made the card, placed the cardstock and added my image and sentiment. but it needed something more, so i grabbed my little box and found a piece of punched glitter cardstock ,added some double sided tape to it and popped it under the card layers.
I really think by doing this it gave the card just that little bit more. the punched border was from my Fiskars kaleidoscope border punch.
Tara :)
Super cute card Tara - your stamped images always look fabulous and the added punching makes them POP!!!
Thank you for the idea of keeping punched strips together ... for some reason I have been keeping my offcuts with the bits of leftover cardstock and only get prompted to use them when I get to those bits => definitely more likely to use up these punchy scraps if they are stored together and easily accessible :)
