Fiskars Friday Focus - Azza Sedrak

Let me introduce you to one of our Sydney Craft Demonstrators - Azza. You may have seen Azza demonstrating at some of the Sydney Shows over the past few years....

1. How long have you been crafting?  

              25 years

2.Why did you start  crafting?     

    I have been doing some sort of art all my life I remember as a child building houses from boxes and putting doors and curtains and creating tables and chairs from what ever product was around.   Then went back to it after having children self teaching my self an assortment of art forms then took a few classes and started selling my art when I was approached to start teaching that was almost 20 years ago and have been teaching ever since.

3.How long have you been a Fiskars Demonstrator ?    

Approx 5 years

4. What are your favourite craft activities? 

Mixed media and teaching

5.How do you define your crafting style? 

 Mixed media

6.What is your favourite time of day to craft? 

When ever I can as I have a full time job. 

7.What motivates/inspires you? 

 I love it when new product comes out that I can use to create things outside the square 

8.If you could have only one Fiskars Tool....what would it be and why? 

My fiskars rotary cutter it is my most used tool, it is precise and makes cutting cardboard easy.   My new fiskars Guilotine is being used just as much lately.

Someday my Prince will come...........

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share this gorgeous ATC that Azza Sedrak from NSW has sent through.....isn't it stunning! Azza is one of our Fiskars Craft Demonstrators in the Sydney area of NEW SOUTH WALES.

Gosh....it's ages since I created an ATC myself.....I think the last time was for a PAPERIFIC SWAP a few years ago.

Azza is going to be sharing a few of these with us here on the blog during 2011...so if you love doing ATC's and even if you don't....you wont want to miss seeing these come through.

Here's what Azza had to say this morning.........

ATC 1

I used a fiskars texture plate to create the background and fiskars fleur de lis punch as an embellishment, black paint, Brilliance stamp pad, image and computer generated text.

 

**  thanks for sending this through Azza...it's just gorgeous!! We hope that someday your Prince does come.....LOL! I'm sure this ATC shall inspire others to start creating ATC to share also. If anyone creates ATC's and would like to share them with our readers...by all means send through some pics....but please keep the files small.
