I love recycling last years received commercial Christmas cards into new ones....
This year is no exception.
With a little sparkle added and some great shape punches you can do anything!

Hi everyone,
What a yummy meal I ordered...
Potato wedges
Garlic steak
roasted stuffed capsicums
Cheese cake
So I had to create a...
8x11
brown orange and green
stamping and brads
4 patterned papers.
I also wanted to include journalling on the page, but didn't have enough room. So I added a tag to the upper right hand side using some string. The tag will be easy to pull out and read once the page is inside my album.
I hope enjoy your meal as much as I have enjoyed mine.
Take care
Jacky

The stamp factory is great for stamping up patterned papers as well as wrapping paper for the Christmas holidays.
I only still have black ink pad at the moment. So decided to put some coloured ink pads direct to paper first then stamp away....
I used Cloud9 "Christmas is" stamps (from last year)
And Fiskars "'Twas the night" (from last year)
The Fiskars Stamp Factory (available now at spotlight stores)
And some tissue paper I got from a shoe purchase.
This is what I ended up with....
Matching tags of course with the Ultra shape express and tag template. (spotlight and Wharehouse stationery stores)
I used the edge of the tag template for the To: From: section of the tag.
This was done very fast and very very simply. As my 2.5yr old son had 5 min in front of the tv.
Took me longer to pack up than to do the tags and stamp up the paper. lol
Love fast projects.

Hi Everyone
We are off to a great start with this challenge, it is so much fun. It certainly gets you out of your box and helps you try new things.
My Criteria was
cardboard and paint- the sun punch outs were cream cardboard
I used the Fiskars Soleil Squeeze punch and Paint is Making Memories Shopping Bag.
cardstock optional - I did not use anyI have used a picture taken while on a city tour in melb recently. This is the corner of Flinders and Swanston St a big main intersection. The building is Flinders St Station, our main hub for suburban trains in Melb. I love our city and it was certainly bathed in sunshine this day. With the City Circle Tram and the Station this is classic melbourne.
I dont have any journaling on here as I think the picture says it all.

Well it's only 5 days until the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair.....and only 5 days before the fun begins once more for crafting enthusiasts.....and there is also an area of this Show for Beginners called "CREATIVE ZONE" and that where you can create this fun and funky Mini Album in a Box each day from 2-3pm.
Bookings can be made at the Fiskars Craft Studio each day....but you'll have to be quick as there are limited places for these Creative Zone Workshops.
Cost is only $10 to be paid at time of booking....which includes a Heidi Grace Love Blossoms Kit and a Cloud 9 Board Book in a Box.......FANTASTIC value hey? I sure had fun creating this project and it has proved very popular in Melbourne and Sydney.

.. and I'm not sure I like it. It was all going ok until I handwrote directly on the layout! That's definately outside my comfort zone because I can't write straight!!
BUT, at least I tried something a bit freestyle.
I used my Fiskars hole punch, circle and oval punches, as well as Heidi Grace and Cloud 9 papers, Kimberley Poloson rub ons and Cloud 9 dimensional stickers.
I just picked up the pink alpha stickers at Spotlight. They are Cloud 9 'Alyssa's Garden'. I love the funky font and there are heaps on a sheet. Great value!
TFL and I hope you all have fun getting out of your comfort zone:)

This was a layout I had published in Scrapbooking Memories a couple of months ago.
It features my neice and her quirks!
I used the Heidi Grace "Only Time" papers which feature clocks... so I used the circle theme.
I've used my Fiskars Circle Border Punch "Antique Elegance", Border Punch "Threading Water", Fiskars Eyelet Setter/Hole Punch and Cloud 9 Vellum Flowers, as well as some really old HG rub ons.
