Spotlight Mt Gravatt Craft Clinic this Saturday

                         

Just letting you all know that Fiskars Demonstrator Angela O'Neil is going to be facilitating a Fiskars Craft Clinic this coming Saturday October 23rd......in Spotlight Mt Gravatt,Queensland.

Please note the changed time for this Clinic

Ange shall be in-store from 10:30am - 1:30pm

So why not pop along if you live near by and craft with Ange for a few hours.Try the Fiskars Tools and maybe create and finish a little Make'n'take project......

I'm sure Ange shall Inspire you no end and being an experienced Fiskars Demonstrator she shall be able to show you a few tricks and techniques with the tools.

Also OUT and ABOUT this Saturday are Dawn Stan and Wendy Steward.

Dianne shares some pics from Carnegie Spotlight Craft Clinic

Looks like the Fiskars Craft Clinic in Spotlight Carnegie on Saturday was a fun day.......participants were able to punch and trim and create some fun projects using the fabulous Fiskars Craft Tools.

Being the first day of the school holidays here in Victoria it was nice to see some kids also partipating with their parents.

Looks like the decorated jars were popular.......

Crafting up a storm at Spotlight Newcastle

Well the table was all set up and ready to go yesterday in Spotlight Newcastle....Lorraine Lee had a fabulous few hours teaching and inspiring others to craft.....and giving them tips and tricks on how to use the Fiskars Tools.... the ladies all loved playing around with the tools....and the Stamp Factory was a real hit!    Hey...check out Lorraine Lee's Fiskars Apron......crafty huh?

These Craft Clinics are such a great way to get some hands on instruction in a supportive environment.

It's always nice to be able to try tools before you buy them....and to make sure you know how they work......

Lorraine Lee said that the flowers were a great hit.....made from cutting out some shapes using the Fiskars Ultra Shape Express Shapecutter..........ooh what fun!

Glad everyone had fun crafting in Newcastle yesterday.....make sure you keep an eye on here for further Fiskars Craft Clinics as they are happening around Australia in Spotlight Stores......

Lorraine Lee Tynerman shall be next Demonstrating Fiskars Tools in Spotlight Tuggerah,NSW on October 2nd for their Birthday Celebration.....so if you live near by make sure you jot this date down in your diary....she'll be in-store from 10-1.

Spotlight Newcastle Craft Clinic - September 18th(tomorrow)

Just letting you know that Lorraine Lee Tynerman shall be facilitating the next Fiskars Craft Clinic on Saturday September 18th in Spotlight Newcastle,NSW from 12-3pm....ooh that's tomorrow...woohoo

She has sent through some great Make'n'take projects that she shall be teaching for FREE......

A cute little Matchbook type mini album that would be perfect for all those little school pics......or a cute little Bookmark........aren't they gorgeous!     Ooh what fun!!

I love how  Lorraine Lee's Bookmark goes over the Corner of the Page......cute huh?

Lorraine Lee wanted to show something that will have a practical use and will be ideal for those little gifts to put inside a greeting card.

These Spotlight Craft Clinics are a great way to learn new skills and techniques in a supportive environment....maybe you don't usally craft this way.....so this is a great opportunity to come and learn...and the good thing is these Craft Clinics are FREE to the public.....gotta' love that!

Craft Clinic @ Spotlight Watergardens

I had an amazing Craft Clinic @ Spotlight Watergardens today. I am totally exhausted but had an awesome day.

What a busy day even though it was the Australian Election Day. I had many many visitors stop by and create a tag or two.

Here's a glimpe of some of the tools I had with me today for guys, girls and kids to have a chance to play with. Our youngest today was a little Dora the Explorer fan aged 4. Kaitlyn made a lovely tag and wanted to stay and play all day.

 

Here are four tags you could make today. You could also be creative and design your own.

Here's a picture of my table all set up. We had ladies on the side all ready to sit and craft. It didn't matter that there was only one chair as they all lined up and punched and cut away.

One of my first visitors today was the lovely Jessica. Jessica was a very talented young lady who loves crafting. Jessica created a lovely tag and was a wizz at using the shapecutter and squeeze punches. A very confident young crafter with a great knack for matching her colours and designing her tag. Great job, Jess.

Later in the day two gorgeous crafters joined my table to make a tag or two.

Brother and sister, Emre and Izel had a great time making their own special creations. Izel loved using the Fiskars tools so much she made two tags. She was very good at mastering the Ultra Shapexpress and had no trouble using it without any help.

Emre was a very talented crafter and knew exactly what to do with the leftover hole punchouts. He decided to add them to his tag. Well done Emre and Izel. If you would like to send me any of your creations feel free to send them to us at [email protected]

The texture plates, shapecutter and stamp and press were all huge hits with both young and old. One gentlement was keen on the texture plates for using with his leather craft and other crafts he loves. I am happy to say I didn't go a minute without someone at my table, cutting, pasting, punching, inking etc.

Spotlight Craft Clinic

Tommorrow, Saturday 21st August, I will be at Spotlight, Watergardens in Victoria from 12pm till 3pm running a craft clinic.

Come along to play with lots of cool tools and make a 10 minute make n take. Get to know our tools closeup or ask for help with an existing tool.

Here's a sneak peak of some of the 10 minute projects you can create for free. I will have some goodies to give away. Stickers and scissor pins for anyone who drops by and mentions the blog.
