Craft Shows are always a great source of information.....a great opportunity to purchase all the latest and greatest craft tools and materials....some stands offer Make'n'takes and you can also be educated by attending one of the fun Workshops on offer..................I love attending Craft Shows.....I am always inspired by all the ideas and creativity I see....and love seeing all the NEW Trends.

Did you know that the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo is coming to Melbourne for the first time in March this year? How darn exciting for us Victorians...ooh la la.....there are some fabulous classes on offer and a great chance to purchase some new craft supplies.....and we all need a little retail therapy now and again don't we.......it's so good for the soul......LOL!  Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it......he,he.

OMG.....that means it's only 10 days until we here in AUSTRALIA celebrate

I'm working at the BLUE LOTUS WATERGARDEN most of the day on JANUARY 26th....it's often our busiest day of the SEASON......but I'll be doning my Australia Day cap......and shall have on my Aussie Apron!

CHRISTMAS VIP NIGHT ~ TONIGHT ! ! !

Why not pop into your local SPOTLIGHT STORE tonight for their VIP Christmas Night.....these nights are always such fun.......a great place to try new products, watch demos....participate in Make and Take Sessions....and each store usually has giveways on the night.....I might just drop by my local store....as it's the first time in about 8 years that I won't actually be working in a store on the night...so I might actually get to play....woohoo...............

a winning TEAM

 

Hi everyone,

Just checking in from PAYNESVILLE where we have been spending some time relaxing and doing some maintenance on our holiday home down here......

REMEMBER I posted last week that we were attending a family CUP DANCE on Raymond Island on Saturday Night......well............guess what?.......we won a prize for the BEST DRESSED COUPLE.....LOL!

So my trip into the REJECT SHOP paid off.....won ourselves a lovely bottle of GERMAN WINE....LOL!

It was a fantastic,fun night....full of laughter....dancing......fine food and drink....and we didn't miss the Ferry back to PAYNESVILLE this time......LOL!

Nothing like a Make do hat.......black boa,silver hat and a black cardstock band with punched out horses using my Fiskars Horse Lever Punch....lucky I had it with me......but they are available in SPOTLIGHT....and I know SPOTLIGHT BAIRNSDALE have them in stock....saw some last week whilst in the store.

For Rod's hat I used a Silver Bowler Hat from the Reject Shop and adhered the puncched out black horses from my hat onto the edge....then went looking for a plastic horse to add to the top...the only one I could find was a My Little Pony......so we went with that........bit of fun...and we had a great night. I also purchased the silver bow tie from the REJECT SHOP.

Is anyone else going to the MELBOURNE CUP or perhaps a CUP DAY PARTY,BBQ,etc.........it's a great chance to dress up and have fun with family or friends....OR both.

*** COMING SOON *** CARD A DAY FEATURE

Just giving you all the HEADS UP on our CARD A DAY FEATURE that we shall be running on here from mid- November (15th) until mid-December (15th.....we hope that shall inspire you to GET CREATIVE this CHRISTMAS!

SO mark the date....starting November 15th.....this might be a good way to get those Christmas Cards done before the SILLY SEASON LAST FEW DAYS RUSH......know what I mean!!!

The FISKARS CRAFT TEAM shall also be sharing some fun SEWING and PAPERCRAFT CHRISTMAS PROJECTS in the lead up to CHRISTMAS.......if you don't want to miss anything....then why not SUBSCRIBE to our BLOG......it's FREE.....and it only takes a few minutes....
