* Olympic Inspired Layout !

While the 2 inch Fiskars Squeeze Punch was still out I got to work and punched some white Bazzill circles and placed them over the white Bazzill background as a mask and then set to work with my Glimmer Mist and sprayed a bit. I have also been trying to use some of the stash I have, and I will bet some of you still have some of those scrapworks hugz in their stash (be curious to know if you do).

I used the Hugs to represent the Olympic circles and of course the photo is of the best Fiskars Team and friends anyone could have.

Colour Me Happy - Green....

My son Ben's favourite colour is Green so I knew that I had to create a layout especially about him when creating for the colour challenges.

Papers are from the Kimberly Poloson range. Have used both the Threading Water Punch and the Apron Lace Border Punches. 

Happy Birthday Mum card....

The Cloud 9 Finleys Estate is such a gorgeous range with lots of papers and embellishments.

Here is a simple card that I made with some left over paper from making my Birthday Card Holder. 

Birthday Wishes Card....

It's that time of the year for us where lots of Birthdays are coming up. Here is another simple card that I made using the Finleys Estate Collection from Cloud 9. 

The base of the card is Kraft Cardstock that has pen work around the edges. Using the Threading Water punch have punched out and adhered to top and bottom of the card. Co-ordinating piece across the middle. The card has been finished off with a flower and letter stickers. 

MMM Chocolate Cake layout....

A cute and fun layout that highlights the yummy chocolate cake that my husband was made on his last birthday. 

Finleys Estate papers and embellishment suit the layout perfectly. 

Edges of the patterned paper have been sanded and then detailed along the edges with penwork. 

Using Fiskars border punch have punched out a co-ordinating piece of paper to go along under the bottom edge of the main photo. Fiskars Squeeze circle punches to make an embellishment which has been finished off with a co-ordinating sticker in the centre. Journalling on a shipping tag and letter stickers for the title.

Birthday Card Holder....

I tend to keep all the Birthday cards, Mothers Day cards etc and never really know where to put them. A few years ago I came across a fabulous idea of a card holder constructed out of chipboard and scrapbook paper and embellishments. 

Step 1: Cut your chipboard to size. I made my chipboard pieces large enough to hold the big cards that you may receive. I cut my pieces of chipboard 7.5" x 10".

Step 2: Glue your pieces of chipboard to your paper. I used the Cloud 9 Finleys Estate collection. Ensure to cover your chipboard pieces all the way to the edges with glue.

Step 3: Wrap the edges of your paper around the chipboard and stick down using double sided tape.

Step 4: Cut a co-ordinating piece of patterned paper to finish off the inside covers of the chipboard.

Step 5: Ink the edges of your chipboard covers and put a hole in the top left hand corner using the Fiskars Hole Punch.

Step 6: Decorate the front cover using embellishments and rub-ons for the name. 

Step 7: Punch holes in the cards and thread through them with ribbon. 

Step 8: Finish off by tying ribbon around the card holder to keep the cards in place. 

Happy Birthday Card....

Who doesn't love the Fiskars Sqeeze Punches?? So easy to use and in some fabulous designs. One of the my favourites is the new scallop square! The punch was perfect for making a quick but fabulous looking Birthday Card. 

Using the new Heidi Grace Sweetest Bug papers I punched out 9 squares and stapled them to my card. Using penwork along the edge of the card and on the shipping tag. All up this card took less then 5 minutes!
