Well our spies are sure out and about today in
CHRISTCHURCH NEW ZEALAND......looky what Fiskateer Nicola Cotterill just sent through to me.....shopping TODAY in the NEW LINCRAFT store.
So this is the second LINCRAFT store to open up in CHRISTCHURCH.....woohoo...and I've been told that another opened up in DUNEDIN TODAY also.

I always love it when a NEW Craft Store opens....so when I knew that the NEW Lincraft was opening up in the Knox Shopping Centre last week I attended the Grand Opening.....bagging myself a few bargains.
Here's what I spotted on the shelves......soooooooooo many Fiskars Tools
So if you are after the 12" x 12" templates or the Rotary Trimmer...maybe some Large Shapecutter templates-circles,hearts,etc......look no further....pop into a Lincraft Store...
I spy a Fiskars Craft Drill there also and ...ooh lots of scissors......and Cupcake templates.....so don't forget to drop by your local Lincraft store when looking for some Fiskars Craft Tools.

Just letting you all know that another LINCRAFT STORE is having it's GRAND OPENING in KNOX SHOPPING CENTRE TODAY...............................doors open at 9am.
I picked up a Lincraft Catalogue when I was shopping last week.....check out the SPECIALS!!
I spied a Fiskars Guillotine and also some Fynmark Christmas Scrapbooking Range....ooh...is that BELLA I see.....yes it is................ooh la la......guess where I'm headed today....
At least I can continue on to visit the grandkids after......LOL!

Rounded corners can add a special touch when making cards or layouts.
Did you know that Fiskars have different types of corner rounding punches?
There are the 1/4 round squeeze, the 1/2 round squeeze and the Twist & Flip Round 'n Round punches.
The Twist & Flip is very compact and has both the 1/4 round and 1/2 round punches inside, you just lift the tab, twist and flip to select the type you want.
Although they take up more space, I have to confess that I love both the squeeze punches as they are easy to operate, even for fumbly arthritic fingers like mine. I was thrilled to find the 1/4 round at my local Spotlight a few months ago.
Here is a card made using the 1/4 round squeeze punch - thank you for the inspiration Divinity Fiskateer #6688. Also used my large Oopsie Daisy squeeze punch and brad to embellish the centre.
Here is a quick and easy card made using the 1/2 round squeeze punch.
The 1/2 round has a much larger rounded edge. Doesn't the ric rak look fabulous? It was a lucky find at Lincraft recently but I see in the latest Spotlight advert that they will be selling the Regal Trims too -they come in 2m spools. Not sure who this card is going to yet, so I have punched a spare scallop so that I can stamp on a sentiment then either adhere it in the middle or pop on top of one of the scallops for extra dimension.

It is so quick and easy and you will soon be surrounded by lots of projects for inspiration and meet lots of happy crafters too. I thought I'd share some of the Cards that we used for Make'n'takes last week at the Royal Melbourne Show using the gorgeous "Blackberry Jam" Range of products from Bella/Fynmark! (available in Lincraft)
Rosemary Crowley designed these cards.....aren't they wonderful!
Having the fabulous Fiskars Tools and the yummy Blackberry Jam product from Fynmark made for some fun projects.........................

What a fabulous time we have had crafting in the ART,CRAFT PAVILION at the Royal Melbourne Show!
TODAY Tuesday Oct 4th is the LAST DAY of the Show....so we are back for more crafting fun in the CRAFT HUB...............we'll be there from 9:30am - 5pm.....so come play with us!!

I'm getting quite excited about working in the CRAFT HUB again at this year's Royal Melbourne Show.
Rosemary , Rod and I shall be working on Friday Sept. 30th, Saturday Oct. 1st and Tuesday October 4th.... ooh that's only a few days away................

ok I guess it's only fair that I too have to answer the questions that I asked the other Fiskars Ambassadors...so here we go I'm Lyn Dwyer Lead Fiskars Ambassador AUSTRALIA...I live in the YARRA VALLEY in Victoria with my wonderful hubby Rod .
We have 4 gorgeous sons and 2 beautiful daughter-in-laws and 1 handsome little grandson SAM
Tim and Michael still live with us here, Brian and Jess are in Coral Bay in Western Australia and Brendan ,Sally and Sam live in Rowville,Victoria. Family are very important to me
1. How long have you been crafting?
I have always loved creating things from Cards to Floral Arrangements since I was at Secondary Schooland taking photos.....now that's too far back to remember......LOL! But it's only been since I retired from Primary Teaching in 2003 that I have had more time on my hands
2.Why did you start crafting?
After a major illness at the end of 2001 I had to change the direction that my life was headed in and that meant giving up the very thing I loved doing....Teaching Children....although this was hard for me it virtually saved my life......so I had to find other things to occupy my day and something that I enjoyed doing for ME!! I decided to do some Patchwork Classes at my local store and although I loved it....it was Scrapbooking that really took my fancy after I attended a Scrapbooking Convention in Melbourne.
From there I was offered work with Fiskars and also Teaching at Simply Scrapbooking in Eltham....(I didn't have a clue who Fiskars they were back then....LOL!)...and the rest is history.....
3.How long have you been a Fiskars Ambassador?
I have been a Fiskars Demonstrator for 9 years- Ambassador for 5 of those...and in my 4th year as Lead Ambassador....I'm also a very active Fiskateer !
4. What are your favourite craft activities?
I love creating cards for family and friends,Scrapbooking,creating Mini Albums and Off the Page Type Projects....I also love playing around with flowers and making flower arrangements when I can.
I love to create my own Christmas Floral Table Centre Pieces each year for our family Christmas Dinner on Christmas Eve
5.How do you define your crafting style?
I don't really have a set style as I love to try new techniques and ideas..I just love learning..the only thing I would say is that I'm NOT a plain and simple Crafter....I love adding that bit extra to a project for a 3 -D effect
6.What is your favourite time of day to craft?
I mainly craft in the morning or afternoon....very rarely of an evening!!
7.What motivates/inspires you?
My family and friends....especially my grandson Sam...I love taking his pics and scrapping them!
I also get inspired by other crafters....especially at Craft Shows, on-line sites,Fiskateers gallery.
Sometimes NEW product also inspires me to create...you know when you receive something and just have to rip it from it's package and play with it....LOL!
I also Inspire myself with my constant need to LEARN something NEW.....I absolutely love that CHALLENGE!! My latest Challenge is to Master my SLR camera in Manual Mode...so I am participating in an 8 week course at Big Picture Scrapbooking and I'm loving it!!
8.If you could have only one Fiskars Tool....what would it be and why?
I'd be lost without my Fiskars Softouch Scissors and Fiskars Euro Personal Trimmer!
