Hi all I really hope you have enjoyed my journey of crafting with quotes from Fiskateer mothers. I have too.....

Here are all the other quotes that I couldn't make things for......

 

Loving, caring, mothers?

• I'll knock you into the middle of next week!

• Try everything once and if you like it, do it again - as long as it't not illegal or immoral.

  (this fiskateer also mentioned.... "sad to say, I've said this to my 7yr old son, who thinks COOOOL will it really?!!)

I asked the lovely Fiskateers about a month ago to quote their mothers. Some were awesomely hilarious.... (to me. I could have a warpt sense on humour though).

I also found out even though we are an international bunch that most mothers/caregivers said similar things to us when growing up.

My mission during this month is to do some creative thing with as many quotes I can (as time allows).

I also found out even though we are an international bunch that most mothers/caregivers said similar things to us when growing up.

This paper pencil idea was originally from a swap I did with Dee Sturgeon.

see this is what happened to me. I didn't listen to my mum.... lol

Day 5 brings us to:
"We could make that"
or
"You could make that yourself if you want to"

Fiskars tools used:
1/4" hand hole punch
1/8" hand hole punch
Fiskateer scissors
Cutting mat
Ultra shape expresss
Tag shape template
Fingertip craft knife

I cut out corrugated cardboard scissor blades and covered them with paper using Helmar acid free glue. Put them together with a brad and added the tag with ribbon. They actually open and close! But don't cut paper.

Day 3 brings us to:
"You'd be hot too if you'd been in the oven"

Fiskars tools used:
Shapetemplates - cupcake and tags
Ultra shape express
Micro tip scissors - for cutting ribbon
Crimper - still available via Stampin UP!
Soft Tough scissors - fine detail paper cutting
1/4" hand hole punch

I hand stamped the background cardstock with Stampin UP's cupcake set stamps (cherry, heart, flower) and ink pads. This made it the card look very similar to a 1950's feel.
