These are bits and pieces of my craft space.
I have used three nest of tables stacked for storage on top of cupboard.
Small book shelf on top of drawers to hold cricut cartridges, sizzix and quickutz dies.

Hi everyone, Andrea here sharing my scrap space with you all. Although this is our office, its not dedicated solely to my scrap supplies (much as I’d like it to be!). There is also a couch in here and a bookshelf with albums and magazines in and all of my daughter’s growing craft supplies.
So this is my corner of the room. It’s very tidy right now because this was a great excuse for me to tidy and to cull. I’m one of those people who need to see things in order to use them so if it’s hidden away it doesn’t get used – so every now and then I cull my supplies. I’m actually becoming quite ruthless at this. I’ve come to realize that I don’t need piles of supplies and having a small scrap space like this works well for me. You can see my desk where I work – I like to scrap standing up most of the time.
Next to my scrap desk is my computer desk where I also have a scanner and printer – very important as I print all my photos at home and also play around a lot on the computer. Under the computer desk is where I store my patterned paper and cardstock in acrylic paper trays. This works for me in this space but eventually I think I would like to try vertical storage.
On my desk I keep tools I use a lot: pens, scissors, knife, ruler and mat, photo tabs and glue stick. Also I have this cool basket that I keep mounted stamps and ink cubes in. Beside that is a set of wooden drawers that I keep other wooden stamps in plus inks, acrylic blocks and paints. In the desk drawers I keep spare computer inks, photo paper, printer paper and other odds and ends.
Beside the desk I have these cubes where I keep several plastic containers. In them are paints, Cuttlebug dies etc, spare minialbums, chipboard letters and shapes, cardmaking equipment, extra embellishments, bead jewellery equipment (another craft I do), embroidery thread and my Fiskars Stamppress. On top of the cubes I keep current and unfinished projects, various glues and my toolbox which is filled with lots of useful tools – this is great for lugging to crops. Beside the cubes I keep my Fiskars trimmers, shape templates and ScrapBoss and my Cuttlebug.
On the other side of the cubes I have folders in which I keep all my flat scrapbook supplies such as stickers, rubons and alphas. I take everything out of its original packaging and they go into clear pockets in alphabetical order of manufacturer. Except for Heidi Grace and Cloud 9 which have files of their own. I also have a folder for clear acrylic stamps and unmounted stamps which I keep attached to Ezimount sheets. Also under the desk is a file folder for all my scrap paper and cardstock.
On the wall beside my desk I have 3 shelves. The top shelf contains button jars and baskets for punches. The middle shelf has ribbon jars (you can see I like to have things arranged by colour!) and containers for embellishments such as tags, flowers, tape, felt etc. The bottom shelf has little buckets filled with bead tubes, containers for small embellishments such as brads, sequins, snaps and eyelets etc and also glitter glue containers. You can see also on these shelves I like to display a few minialbums that I’ve done.
As I said on the other side of the room is a bookshelf where I keep my albums, more minialbums, idea books and magazines, felt and fabric pieces and all my daughter’s craft supplies. So that’s it, small but it’s all I need, for now!

I must say that my scrap room does seem like my second home... I spend a lot of my days in this room... It is my space that I can do what I like it and express myself through my scrapbooking.
I was lucky enough when we built our house almost 6 years ago in the southern suburbs of Adelaide to have the extra space to turn into a craft room. At the time I had started scrapbooking, but not to the degree that I do it now. So the room started with a basic desk and storage shelves down one side for all my crafts. The room also was used for when we had guests stayed, so there was a fold away bed and daybed there too. My husband is into trains so the room was shared between us with his smaller train set up on a small layout about 3m x 1.5m.
As things progressed with my scrapbooking and I begun to run workshops from home the room changed...I added a trestle table for teaching and supplies began to be stored on wire cubes I made up. Unfortunately for me...lol... my husbands train set also increased in size and he jokes about having to ask "the real estate agent" (Me !) for more "land". So for us the room changed drastically as my addiction/passion for scrapbooking grew and my husband's train layout grew to a "L" 3m x 3m layout. Out went the daybed and fold out bed... the trestle table left also as I started teaching at a LSS.
I guess the main thing is that my room holds many happy memories so far in the short time that it has been created. It is forever changing to allow for new additions to my ever increasing stash. The best part though is it is a room used by the family but they all know it as "Mum's Scraproom". The things I will always remember about my scraproom are:
* buying out all the Big W stores in Adelaide of their wire cube sets to make up shelves..ended up with well over 15 packs !!
* moving my new solid timber computer desk into the scraproom at 6pm at night off the top of the 4WD, dragging it through the attic window on planks of wood 'cause it wouldn't go up the stairs OR in through the attic door as desk was too big... not to self.. buy flat pack furniture that is not too heavy!
* reorganizing the room what seemed a gazillion times due to ever increasing stash
* DS Nate being most distraught as when we moved the trestle table out to put in my new cupboards for paper storage.... he now had nowhere to scrap ! I reassured him that I would work out a new "space" for him to scrap!
* Finding a use for all those formula tins that pile up to be recycled. I managed to find a use for 40 of them. Great for embossing powders..gel pens..ribbons..glass beads.. etc.
* Most of all my Dymo is my best friend... I labeled everything..literally!.
I love my room... I like it to be tidy and clean up after each spurt of scrapping I do... I like to be able to find things when I want them. Having it set up the way I have now.. my older kids can scrap with me without being under my feet. While my youngest is free to roam and play in the scraproom and adjacent rumpus room, giving me time to do what I love. I am lucky that my children share my craft and that I can scrap with them being around no problems... though I know that they have all grown up with Mum scrapbooking something so they see it as normal... the daily question I get from my son is " Are you going upstairs to scrap today ?"... Mind you the cutest thing any of my kids have done that made me think that maybe I do it too often was when my son was 2 years old and playing with my eldest daughter Barbie's. He had two Barbie's in the Barbie car and "dropped" one off at a pot plant.. when I asked why Barbie was there.. I was proudly informed she was going SCRAPBOOKING !!!!...
Okay enough dribble from me... Mind you I must say... you can never do too much scrapbooking in my mind... Enjoy my space.

Here is my ever evolving scrap room, I started on the dinning table, moved to a desk and it has finally evolved into a room of my own. I am very lucky to have room to create in.
A friend built me my special bookcase, deep enough for 12 x 12 storage which I love. The $2 shop has provided me with the majority of my storage boxes, there is a little big of smiggle stuff too. I recently won a Dymo labeller in a raffle and I am in the process of labelling everything in sight !!!!
No matter what there just never seems to be enough space for everything lol

Hi everyone! Here is a picture of my scrapping room before i organise it all. we moved into our new home five months ago, but as my original plan for a scrap room was taken over by the kids for a play room, I had to improvise and he ended up with this.
We built this room to be like a sunroom. It comes directly off our bedroom and is about 7 metres long and 3 metres wide. It is a bit hot up there in summer, but we are working on that. I have all my paper stored in the single pantry cupboard, and all my magazines and other bigger items in the double pantry. My ribbons and flowers are stored in large clear jars along the top of the cubes. In the cubes are my boxes I keep for favourite brands. I have one for Heidi Grace, one for KI, one for K and Co and one for MAking Memories. There are mostly embellisments in there, but sometimes I add paper scraps.
In the drawers I have glues, punches, and other tools. I keep some of my trimmers in here too, but they are chockers and won't fit any more stuff. On the table I have anything electrical, like my criucut and sewing machine. I try to keep it clear but it has been totally over run at the moment. And the pigsty on the right is my work desk. I really need to get it under control! Trouble is i don't like to put papers away in the cupboard til I have done at least one layout with the range, otherwise I forget I even have it. So what I REALLY need to do is spend a whole week scrapping all day and night and I might get through the mountain!!!
Oh and the funky wall art is from wallallure. My house is covered in these vinyl stickers...they are so cool!
So I plan on reorganising all this and having it nice and neat and tidy within the next week or two. I have already cleaned up the cubes, so the next step will be to tidy the work desk...small steps, small steps!

So welcome to my craft room! It obviously doubles as a spare room for visitors but i love having the bunk/desk. The desk is long enough to store lots of stuff on and the bunk is high enough to keep layouts destined for magazines out of reach of little fingers!!!! I've only just recently re-organised this (hence why it is tidy) b/c i had to add the long trestle table. It seemed that my workspace was too small and now I am loving having a larger one! I am really happy with how it is right now and hoping it can stay this way for a while. I don't really worry about mess so much but it needs to be organised - you know, i like everything to have a place (it just doesn't have to always be IN its place!!! lol!) As long as i can still create efficiently, then I am happy! I love having my computer in the same room b/c i can play my fave movies/music while i am scrapping :)
I got this white cupboard which stores all my albums, from a second hand store, and painted it up. On top there are my baskets with tools i don't use very often, my punches and my wooden stamps....
These old salsa jars store my flowers, paper clips, bread clips and other odds and ends...
Massive basket for my fave mags....
These open class jars hold my buttons and loose chippy pieces along with my reciepts. I think for me it was really important to have these without lids so that it makes the cleaning up process quicker for me. Let's face it....i'm too lazy for my own good and i really need systems that just make cleaning and organising so painless. Taking lids off jars that i'm using all the time is just needless effort for me!!! lol! What a slacker hey - but it works for me :)
These little glasses were about 99cents each from a discount store. In them I have my coloured markers, some coloured embroidery threads and those gorgeous paper flowers made by our daughter Stassi - they have straw stems and are so lovely :)
A wide basket to keep all my mini books that I've made....
I like to hang fave photos/postcards/quotes from a curtain rod by using ribbon and bulldog clips...
This picture used to hang in the entrance way of my childhood home and mum and dad recently gave it to me. i used to stare at it and imagine i was in a far away exotic place sometimes. Now it brings me great joy having it close by once again...
On my desk I have these two plastic containers which i got for $4 each from Coles. Again, being lazy, I have these sitting there and put any new purchases into them or things that I am loving using frequently at any given time :) Those pink boxes (again from a discount store) have my photos stored in them. The smaller one on top has my to-be-scrapped-soon photos in it :)
I store my paints, palette and brushes in this metal box and in the corner you can see 4 pink magazine files which contain my sticker lettering. I put them all into zip lock bags by manufacturer...just helps to save me time looking for them :)
I know this looks like a dark and dingy space but this is the kind of light I love to create in! SOme people i know hate low light like this but i really crave it :) On my *working* desk i have my lamp, glass vase with ribbons, my little sewing machine and a metal basket with my *everyday* tools- double sided tape, stapler, scissors, pens, etc...
Just another little shot of my *working* desk...the table is longer than in this shot so i can stretch out! I'm one of *those* scrappers - the kind that takes a whole table to spread out on to make one little card! lol!
Another discount store purchase, this was a shoe rack! Bottom shelf - cardstock, next one up has large patterned paper sheets, then my baskets, and my acrylic stamp box....
a closer look at the baskets with my inks, adhesives/tools that i need close by and stamp accessories like acrylic blocks...
When i go to crops/shows, i like to store my acrylic stamps in these little paper and plastic cd sleeves...
And the rest of my acrylic stamps are kept here....
This is where my scrap plain coloured cardstock is kept (top drawer), my patterned paper scraps in the next drawer and then other odds and ends in the third one :)
And finally....a clip board with some things people have made me and on top my life words verse which gives me encouragement and inspiration while i scrap :)

The room is small but that just makes it easy to keep warm right ;) What started out as a study it now home to a defunct PC, Mikes car posters and my scrappy space.
Mickey plays DJ watching over the record player and sitting on a trolley of old albums waiting for their day in the scrappy sun... all there are all my random chipboard alphas sorted by letter.
Atop my shelves are the little things... the things that make it my space... also there are my suitcases. Inside are laces, fabrics and flowers. SKC you might ask?... old floppy discs, crying out for an altered project;)
I can't paint...so for me this is art...
All my embellishments are sorted by colour... after trying dozens of ways to sort my stash I have seriously found that this one actually works! Hooray! I also have a whiteboard for noting challenges and deadlines and my tool bag - I LOVE this... about the most used item in my arsonal.
The black shelf... all the important things that need to be in reach... the all important "basket of new and cool goodies", my big tools and boxes of yet more photos.
This was my camp box from Brownies... I still love it and as much as I'd like to paint it I just can't do it :) Atop the box is my HUGE project... mini albums... one from each country we visited on out OE in 2006. It's getting there... slowly.

Hi Everyone
Well here are a few pics of where I spend an awful lot of my day and night!
Under all that paraphernalia is a beautiful wooden desk that my husband Ken made for me, as well as the ledge above, covered with more paraphernalia! Its 2 metres long and i use every little bit of it.
I do spread on occassion, more often than not to our dining room table.........
I am standing in the kitchen taking this photo and on the otherside to the right is our loungeroom so i do like that I am central to everything, my only other option would be to be in a little corner in our bedroom, so for now this works really well for me. The downfall is it can get verrrry messy, and it isn't really in a place you can hide it!
My favourites are my canisters with bits, $1.99 at Crazy Clarks.........
and I love the other bits and pieces being handy............

It's nothing flash, and it's not as creative looking as I would love it to be, but it's my desk in my corner and no-one else is allowed to work there!!
There are lots of places I could have set up in my home as my scrapping area, but as I scrap mainly in the evenings, I chose the lounge so I could be with my family to scrap guilt free (and also by the tellie & fire!).
I'm a bit of a tidy freak (according to my hubbie) and so I wanted the lounge to still look tidy & not like an art studio.
So, I've had to go for function over aesthetics! I purchased my desk off Trade Me. It's an old computer desk which has handy pull out shelves - perfect for the trimmer & storing papers while I work.
There's a handy gap - perfect for my templates!
I had to go for metal baskets because I couldn't find wicker in the right size. These hold my stamps, punches and art materials.
I have a variety of plastic drawers for papers, as well as the good old pizza boxes which fit under my desk. Other drawers hold chipboard, and the upper right drawers hold little embellishments.
I'm FAST outgrowing this space. My overflow is stored in the guest room. I'm dreaming of a new house with a dedicated space right off the family living area which I can make my own creative studio, but for now, I'm happy with my little corner!! Well, most days. It can be pretty frustrating working in such a tiny area, but it's good practice for working at crops...LOL.

Hi, I’m Melissa from Adelaide, South Australia and this is a layout for a competition I completed about three months ago.
I’m new to being a Fiskars demonstrator and am still building up my supplies and learning how to use them.
My scrap space and where I hold my workshops and crops, is the formal lounge and dining area of my home. It’s a little cramped at the moment as I have a couple of couches in the room still, until our extension to our home is complete and they will be moved out.
I try to keep my area fairly organised so it is easier for people to find things when they are cropping in my home. Templates, Cricut, punches and cutting tools are grouped in one area. Ribbons, paint, glitters, pens and pencils in another. Adhesives live together in a basket and books are piled on my bookshelf.
I store my papers grouped by colour along with my files of coloured scraps. This is easy when I want to punch a flower or title in a specific colour to hunt through my scrap stash instead of starting that new sheet of cardstock.
I have numerous scrapbooking and cardmaking books and magazines to inspire both myself and my clientele that crop in my home. I also couldn’t live without my Cricut and A3+ printer which have been added to my supplies in recent months. I love my Fiskars USE and have a variety of trimmers which I swap and change about regularly depending upon how I’m feeling at the time.
I enjoy the challenge of encouraging others to come out of their ‘comfort zones’ and try new things. When I get new tools I am keen to teach others how to use it too.
I love scrapbooking with the ever changing variety that there is in the craft.
