For the double page layout I strted out using a Becky Fleck page map and then changed it a little to suit my photo sizes and orientation.
I finally cut into the beuatiful Bella wedded papers. I used the apron lace border punch and some black cardstock to make a border at the bottom of the page. I also go to use the bella bling and bucklez on this page. Can you also see under the photo of the couple on the vespa that I have used one of the imprints cards and held it closed with a couple of photo turns. This creates space underneath for more photos or jornalling!
These papers were so easy to use and are fantastic for any wedding related projects :)
** so glad to see you break open the gorgoeus Bella Wedded Range to play with Lisa.....it's lovely to use isn't it.......

I created this Wedding Card for my son Tim's mate Paddy for his wedding on Friday...all Tim has to do is add some Thai Money Notes in the inside pocket as Paddy and Lauren are going to Thailand for their Honeymoon so he is giving them some Thai money....
Fiskars Tools used were:
Fiskars Euro Trimmer
Fiskars Border Punch - Lace
Fiskars Oval Squeeze Punch
Fiskars Corner Border Punch - Lattice Entertain You
Fiskars Microtip Scissors
I also used my Cuttlebug to Emboss ....along with my Cuttlebug Wedding Dies
I hadn't used the Corner Border Punch for a few months....so it was nice to give it another workout!

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd take a break from my Christmas Card making over the weekend to create this Wedding Card for a family member who ties the knot next Saturday at the age of 56......so you are never too old to get hitched.....LOL! Wishing Peter and Dianne all the very best for their Wedding Day....same day as our Victorian State Election.
I had fun creating this using my trusty Fiskars Border Punches - Sunburst and Cupcakes Fiskars Trimmer and Seal of Approval Squeeze Punch!
I got out my "Cuttlebug" machine and embossed the red card on the front to add a little dimension.
Next I added some ribbon and attached a couple of flowers with a brad and snuck in a little cute flower that I was given last weekend by Linda Jones from Scrapsadaisy.
I then punched out around the embossed Bride and Groom and added a little red bling from Kaisercraft.
I sure had fun creating this in the red and white combo...the colour of the Bridesmaids Dresses.
For the inside I added another punched out shape using my Seal of Approval Squeeze Punch and added a little red bling just above the bells.
A red strip was added using the Fiskars Cupcake Border Punch on the righthand side and then I finished off by hand writing inthe card.......something I always love to do !
Let's hope the weather is kind to Peter and Dianne next Saturday!
ok...it's back to my Christmas Cards now....anyone else creating their own this Christmas? I'll share some later this week!
xoxo

My Fiskars Tools got another good work out today.....scissors,hand punch and Corner Rounder and trimmer.
I'm finallly resting up whilst all the boys are out the back having a few drinks.....and I'm starting to get a tad excited!!
Only 1 sleep to go....woohoo........

Don't think I have shared my son's Wedding Invites on here yet....so here you go......Wedding is only days away on Sat March 13th.......we are getting so darn excited.....Brian shall be our second son to get married.
Brian is having his 3 brothers as Groomsmen and Jess has both her sisters......so that's going to be lovely!
When Brendan got married Michael was working in CANADA.....so it's lovely that the 4 boys shall be together for Brian's Wedding!
Wedding is at Gum Gully Farm Silvan March 13th....it's going to be such fun!!
Here's some recent pics I took when Jess ,Brian and I were making the Wedding Inviations....they wanted something countryish and plain....not formal.....but nice and unique.....I think we acheived that.....
and the inside.......
The inside pocket has the map, flight centre registry details, and rsvp details in it....
We had a real production line happening the weekend we created these.....50 of them.....
Jess was trimming whilst Brian was typing the details on the vellum insert and he also typed up the rsvp's.printed off Jess's handmade map.....she used some Fiskars stamps and also freehand drew the rest....she did a great job didn't she.
My job was to design the pocket and cut and attach the ribbon to each invitation.
My Fiskars Tools all got a good work out.....LOL! Namely the trimmer, handpunch, scissors and 1/2" corner rounder squeeze punch.
The kids were very happy with the final results...and felt so good creating them from scratch......and they created a unique Wedding Invitation....got what they wanted....and had fun creating these at the same time. Don't think they realised how long handmade things can take from start to finish....but they sure know now.....LOL!
DIY Invitations really can give you a lot of pleasure and also save you heaps of money.....and the good thing is they become personalised and unique. Why not give it a go next time you have the need for Invitations!
xoxo
